Lovereading Reader Review: A Thousand Pardons; Jonathan Dee

I was fortunate enough to receive a review copy of A Thousand Pardons by Jonathan Dee for review from Lovereading recently. The novel, which is published on the 23rd May (UK release date) is a revealing insight into a marriage that implodes, seemingly following one reckless act.

This was a character-driven novel that I really enjoyed, even though not a lot actually happens in the story itself and I can’t quite put my finger on the reason as to why it was so absorbing (that sounds odd I know!).  It was beautifully written and though I haven’t read any of Dee’s other novels, I will certainly be rectifying this in future.

You can read what I (and some other reviewers) thought of this book here.

Thanks to Lovereading and Corsair for the review opportunity.
